As parents, we know the world doesn’t always feel safe — and that can be a heavy thing to carry.
We want our kids to feel strong. To know how to speak up. To be able to stay calm if something doesn’t feel right.
But how do you teach those things without scaring them?
That’s where this workshop comes in.
Confident Kids is not about fear — it’s about preparation.
It’s about helping children trust their instincts, understand their bodies, and move through the world with confidence.
And we do it all through play, movement, and encouragement — not pressure, not perfection.
Led by Kelley Quijano, an occupational therapist and jiu-jitsu black belt, this event was created to give kids a joyful, empowering experience that stays with them long after the session ends.
We don’t just teach self-defense.
We teach self-worth.
And that changes everything.

Yes! It’s a gift to the community — and every family gets a free 2-week class pass, too.
That’s totally okay. Our coaches are trained to help all kids feel safe and supported.
